Nvidia - dkms driver update F8.

Since I did a reboot on my system, I cannot get the nVidia drivers to work.

DKMS tries to rebuild the module but fails.

I removed the driver and then rebooted. Re-installed the driver and
rebooted again with the same failure.

I don't know if this is related to the latest kernel for Fedora 8 or not.

According to the nVidia web site, the latest version is now

-- Version: 173.14.09

And there now seems to be a 64 bit version as well.

Are there plans to provide a new driver soon or should I go to the Livna
kernel module until there is?

I see that the most recent builds for Fedora 8 is April 30th. Does this
mean Fedora 8 support is dropped?

Fedora 8
kernel-2.6.25.4-10.fc8
nvidia-x11-drv-169.12-1.fc8
nvidia-x11-drv-32bit-169.12-1.fc8

I see that there is a build for a newer nvidia video driver for Fedora 9
but not the latest.
nvidia-x11-drv-173.14.05-1.beta.fc9.i386.rpm
