Granted. But for some of us these are work machines, 3D is never even 
used/enabled. The nvidia 96xx driver is really needed with my video card 
just to provide acceptable 2D use, the stock one pauses and stalls a lot 
(and has horrible redrawing).

We all have different needs. :)
