my selected card is ATI Technologies INC
model SB450 HDA Audio
module snd-hda-intel
PCM device :
ALC861VD Analog

What kernel are you using? What version of alsa-lib?

The latest version is 1.0.15rc2

You can check alsa site and see if the latest alsa-driver
fixed something for your card:

 http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Changes_v1.0.15rc2_v1.0.15rc3

As I told you before, maybe you just need

options snd-hda-intel model=xxx

in /etc/modprobe.conf
