Nvidia-driver

I installed nvidia driver from freshrpms: everything was o.k. but 
Blender froze the machine.
Same drivers from livna didn't cause any freeze: in particular I got a 
blank screen and session was closed, and after a while a could start a 
different session

Any hint??
