i586 here... that's why the microcode update daemon fails
already...

The nvidia driver installation with is working as expected with Matthias'
dkms packages after replacing the kernel.

I have to remove rhgb from grub.conf in order to boot up to runlevel 5.
Otherwise I have always to switch into runlevel 3 and later to runlevel 5
by hand for xorg / gdm start...
