hi thias,
this if of course your personal choice and your project though i have
always avoided doing ads banners etc on newrpms for a variety of
reasons.
my vision was just that the free web id love to use and see doesent
have flashing banners and commercial advertizement because in my eyes
it doesent fit to the open source idea and i also considered it
somewhat unfair towards the developers that also give away their work
for free.
webspace and bandwith is free for open source projects of any kind so
theres no cost involved if you do things the "costless" way.
domains of course have to have paid registration but as for my project
i never thought id really require a domain for it.
just my point of views
