IMPORTANT: Dropping RH9 and FC1

Hi everyone,
I'm seriously considering dropping RH9 and FC1 with the advent of EL4. Now
that the pace has accelerated with Fedora Core it makes only sense to keep
around 2 Fedora releases and all the supported Enterprise versions. (EL2,
EL3 and EL4)
The only exception to the rule is RH7.3 which is still widely deployed. So
I will be supporting RH7.3 a little longer.
Shout now if you still rely on RH9 or FC1 support. When I dropped RH6 and
RH8 support I did not get much feedback and even after dropping only a
single person mailed me about missing updates :-)
So if my hunch is right, this also will have not that much impact.
On a side-note, there's somewhat more development going on with RPMforge
and I hope we can use FOSDEM 2005 to build momentum. If you still require
RH9 or FC1 updates and it is important to you, the SPEC files still have
RH8, RH9 and FC1 support and we welcome to contact us.
RPMforge has room for additional builders that want to extend RPMforge to
other distributions and legacy distributions. If you are interested, it's
important to know that it requires a lot of dedication to maintain an
RPMforge build. So don't take it to lightly.
Kind regards,
